September always marks a fresh start. After the summer months, calendars fill up again, projects get back into full swing, and the final stretch of the year begins.

At Grenergy, that return to routine for some, or back-to-school season for others, has long had a tradition of its own: our now iconic Back to the Beat.

It’s the event we hold at our Madrid offices every year, bringing us together to celebrate everything we’ve achieved so far and build momentum for what’s still to come.

This year, we came back with a special edition. But before the party got started, it was time to take stock.

Nine months, plenty to celebrate

2026 isn’t over yet, but this was a good moment to put everything we’ve achieved so far this year into perspective.

looked back at the key milestones and announcements that have shaped these first nine months, from the inauguration of Elena, the largest battery plant in the Americas, to new financing agreements, PPAs and storage capacity secured across different markets, while also looking ahead to what’s still to come.

Behind every one of those milestones lies much more than what ultimately makes the headlines: months of work, challenges overcome and, above all, the people and teams who make it all possible.

And from the recap… to the BBQ!

Then, we swapped presentations for the garden at our Rafael Botí offices.

This year, Back to the Beat went BBQ Edition, and it certainly lived up to its name: a barbecue, live music and a DJ, ice cream, arcade games to put our skills to the test, and even an unexpected boat race on the office pond.

And so, somewhere between the music, dancing, laughter and a little friendly competition, we recharged our batteries and left fully charged.
