About the project

These achievements support our market leadership and our determination to continue growing in Chile, continue to promote the energy transition and improve people’s quality of life.
This involves the organisation of an expedition of senior company executives to cover 1,000 km of the Carretera Austral, where we have identified different projects to help communities close to the road’s route. The route was carried out by electric bike and electric support and supply vans. 5 Stages along the Carretera Austral passing through multiple communities and natural environments and paying maximum attention to leaving a zero carbon footprint.
To kick off this initiative, a group of company executives led by David Ruiz de Andrés, CEO of Grenergy, travelled 1,000 kilometres of the route on electric bicycles, accompanied by electric support vans, paying maximum attention to leaving 0 emissions.

Donations for education projects

Within the framework of GrenRiders Austral 24, Grenergy has also made donations to the local communities near the Carretera Austral for training projects linked to the field of energy and sustainability with the aim of contributing to the economic and social development of the localities, while caring for and maintaining the biodiversity of the environment.
The different social actions agreed will benefit 600 people from the different local communities, including training activities such as scholarships and agreements to promote specialized workshops in ecology and recycling and promote ecological awareness.
