At the San Miguel de Allende photovoltaic solar plant, we will have the capacity to generate 35 MW
San miguel de allende
Located on an 85-hectare site at Rancho Guadalupe, Guanajuato, the construction phase spans twelve months, with an expected useful life of around 30 years. Our goal with this project is to generate electricity from a green, infinite, and silent energy source, the sun, captured through photovoltaic panels (conversion efficiency of 20.55%) and injected into the electrical grid.
Directly from our heart: unveiling the components of our Battery Energy Storage System
Mounting
The mounting system of a solar panel is crucial for ensuring its stability and optimal orientation towards the sun. Designed to withstand various weather conditions, the mounting allows precise angling to maximize solar light capture. Mounts can be adjustable and are made from corrosion-resistant materials to ensure long-lasting durability.
ARC Tempered Glass
ARC (Anti-Reflective Coating) tempered glass is a protective layer applied to the solar panel. This special glass features an anti-reflective coating that reduces light loss by allowing more sunlight to pass through to the photovoltaic cells. It is also impact-resistant and designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, safeguarding the panel from damage and wear.
EVA/POE
Encapsulation materials that ensure adhesion and protection of photovoltaic cells, improving efficiency and extending the panel’s lifespan.
Photovoltaic Cells
Semiconductor devices that convert solar energy into electricity through the photovoltaic effect.
EVA/POE (second layer)
Additional material that reinforces the protection of photovoltaic cells, preventing moisture and other external factors.
Tempered Glass
A layer of resistant glass covering the photovoltaic cells, providing physical protection against impacts and adverse weather conditions.
Junction Box
A component that houses the wires and electrical connections of the solar panel, facilitating its integration and maintenance with other electrical systems.
