Escuderos
Located in Altarejos and Poveda de Obispalía (Cuenca, Spain), and covering a total area of 361.11 hectares, the Escuderos Hybrid Plant consists of four units that channel their generated energy into the Altarejos Photovoltaic Complex Substation (SET).
The facility is equipped with 338.118 photovoltaic modules rated at 590 and 595 Wp, mounted on solar trackers that automatically follow the sun’s movement from East to West, optimizing performance throughout the day. To protect the infrastructure, a wind control system is in place that adjusts the panels to a horizontal position when wind gusts exceed 60 km/h, thereby minimizing mechanical stress on the structure.
