Daniel Barman Artiles — Chief of Energy

Daniel Barman Artiles is Chief of Energy at Grenergy. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering, specialising in Renewable Energies, from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and an MBA in International Management from CECO-ICEX. In 2025, he completed IESE’s Program for Management Development.

He began his professional career in research and environmental roles at PLOCAN and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In 2014, as part of the ICEX scholarship program, he worked at the Trade Office of the Spanish Embassy in Santiago de Chile.

Daniel joined Grenergy in April 2015 in Chile as Business Development Manager, where he participated in energy tenders, including long-term PPAs. After two and a half years, he relocated to Spain in July 2017 to continue his career within the company. Since then, he has played a key role in the company’s energy strategy and commercial development, currently leading the Department of Energy.
