From the United States to the south of Argentina, passing through the Iberian Peninsula, Poland, Italy and the United Kingdom.
Grenergy Renovables is a global independent power producer (IPP) that designs, develops and implements large-scale renewable energy plants.
Based in Spain, Grenergy entered the market in 2007 with the aim of producing clean and sustainable energy to support the country’s shift towards zero emissions and protect the environment for future generations.
We design, develop and construct renewable power plants to produce clean energy, one of the revolutions of our century.
Thanks to our know-how, we are able to follow all the necessary steps to reach the construction and operation of our plants: starting from the search for land seeking till to the submission of connection and authorisation requests, since the construction of the works till the management/operation of each plant, including its final dismantling.
Grenergy Polska is an independent power producer of green energy, aware of the role of renewable sources in Poland’s energy transition – a future that each of us can create.
Grenergy Renovables is a global Independent Power Producer (IPP) that designs, develops and executes renewable energy plants on a large scale.
Headquartered in Spain, Grenergy entered the UK market in 2020 with the aim of producing clean, sustainable energy to support the Nation’s shift to net-zero and protect the environment for future generations.
Grenergy Colombia is one of the main agents in the non-conventional renewables market in Colombia. Since our arrival in 2016, we have actively participated in the evolution of the FNCER sector. Grenergy currently has 24% of the total projects built and 15% of the total operating MWs in the country.
Grenergy Renovables, as an international reference developer, is implementing large-scale photovoltaic plants in different locations in the country.
It is important to mention that the Mexican market is already a well-known and successful market for the company. In 2021, it connected its first solar plant with 35 MW in the state of San Miguel de Allende, which is currently operating satisfactorily.
Grenergy Peru began activities in Peru in 2015, currently operates two wind farms with a total power of 36 MW, and also has a portfolio of projects in development of more than 500MW of non-conventional renewable energy plants, both wind and photovoltaic. In this sense, by 2026 it will become one of the main independent power producers in the country.
Sofos Harbert Renewable Energy is the result of the strategic partnership between Juan Mayoral, former CEO of Sofos Energy; and Billy Harbert, CEO of BL Harbert International; Dedicated to being leaders in the design, development and construction of solar energy installations worldwide.
In February 2023, Grenergy Renovables buys 100% of Sofos Harbert Renewable Energy, reinforcing the commitment of both companies to energy development in the United States and positioning Grenergy in the American market with a team that already had extensive experience in the sector, having previously developed a portfolio of 2 GW of solar energy.
We produce energy independently through the development, financial structuring, building, operation and maintenance of large-scale renewable energy plants. Being as efficient as possible requires us to be a player that is fully integrated across the entire process.
This includes searching for projects that are both financially and technically feasible, achieving the milestones required to start construction, and the site work to build and start running the project.
This is the income resulting from the sale of energy in each market where GRENERGY has its own plants as an Independent Power Producer (IPP).
Services rendered to projects once the Commercial Operation Date (COD) is reached. It comprises Asset Management and Operation & Maintenance, provided to our own projects as IPP and to third-party projects. For the period 2016-2020, Grenergy maintains a level of 100% of client retention.
Technological advances bring us closer to the era of alternative energies.
