The “Duna and Huambos Wind Farms” projects are located more than 2300 m.a.s.l., in Huambos district, Chota province, Cajamarca department. The farm generates uses wind power, a renewable energy source, to generate electricity by means of necessary facilities (wind turbines, power lines, among others). The energy generated will be injected into the National Interconnected Electrical System (SEIN).
Both projects include 14 wind turbines of 2,625 MW (7 wind turbines per park), with an installed power of 36.75 MW in total. The energy produced will be transported to Distribution and Control Centers (CR) through a buried manifold system where they will be joined in a single circuit to the electrical connection point. The electrical connection point will be the Duna Huambos electrical substation of 22.9/34.5/138 kV, which will be interconnected to the SEIN through the “PI” bypass of the L-1135 Colored Spine – Cutervo transmission line at 138 kV.
