About the project

With a capacity of 4.1GWh in storage and about 1GW of solar, Oasis the Atacama is divided into five phases. Currently under construction, the Quillagua connection – phase 1- is scheduled to take place by the end of 2024, while the next three phases will take place during 2025. Once operational, more than 145,000 homes will receive clean energy from the facility, which will also prevent the emission of nearly 147,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.

The initiative is the largest renewable project in Latin America during the years 2024 and 2025, a project that will transform the world and promote sustainable development, helping to improve grid stability and decarbonize the economy.
